Vintage Black Beaded Choker Necklace ~Victorian or Gothic Style

Delicate braids of small, black, glass, seed-beads, intertwined with shimmering bugle-beads, threaded into an amazing vintage choker.  The necklace is heavy, yet delicate, with antique style brass brads.  The 5 larger beads on the clasp are a colloidal plastic. 

 These woven beads are heavy, cool to the touch, and the faceted glass gives this necklace a glittering, dressy look. 
I believe this piece to be early, or mid-century, though the hook and clasp style dates this to the 1950s. The necklace is adjustable with the hook and chain method of closing. 
Hardware metal is bronze, the fastener clip appears to silver. This might have been an addition or repair by a jeweler. 
This necklace does not slip off easily.
This is definitely a keepsake or great gift for the collector.
